THE MANAGEMENT

From the onset, Allied Bond Consulting prides itself in the broad academic cum professional background and experience of its founder, Sir T. Willie Tawo. This has over the years been complimented by highly educated, vastly professional, efficient and dedicated team of proven competence and integrity, all culminating into a talented and passionate group. They constitute the Executive Management and Operations team of the firm and also PIFS Conference Stable.

Sir T. Willie Tawo; the Founding Chairman and Managing Consultant of Allied Bond Consulting Limited and the General Programmes Coordinator of PIFS CONFERENCES is a roundly educated and well-travelled development and policy economist with a strong background in Philosophy and leanings on the Economic Philosophy of Karl Marx.

Born in the 60’s and named William Tawo Tawo but now, simply referred to as T. Willie Tawo. He was educated at St. Joseph RCM Primary School, Mamfe, West Cameroon; `St. Martins Primary School, Ikom, Cross River State, Nigeria; Government Secondary School, Ikmo, Cross River State, Nigeria; Himachal Pradesh University, Summer Hull, Simla, India; Katholieke Universiteit Te Leuven (Catholic University of Leuven), Belgium and Catholic University, Washington DC, USA. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy, Licentiate in Economics, Masters Degree in Development Economics, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a PhD in-view (Public Private Partnership, PPP).

Sir Tawo has attended Learning, Development, Finance and Leadership Courses and Programmes at School of Telecommunication, Oshodi, Lagos; Norwich College of Further and Higher Education, Norwich, Norfolk, United Kingdom, Catholic University Washington DC, USA; Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University USA and Senior Management and Leadership Training in Project Management at Stanford Graduate School of Business, San Francisco, California, USA. He has participated in Conferences, Seminars and Workshops in the fields of Sustainable Development, Infrastructure Development, Oil & Gas, Power / Energy, Public Private Partnership, Entrepreneurship Development and Investment Promotion across the World.

He has had a varied professional cum business experience and is a member of several professional bodies including Fellow, Institute of Professional Managers, UK; Honourary Fellow, Institute of Internal Auditors of Nigeria; Fellow, British Society of Commerce, UK; Member, Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) UK; Fellow British Society of Commerce, UK; Fellow, Institute of Professional Managers and Administrations of Nigeria and a Certified Change/ Project  Manager of the Prosci Institute, USA.

After his postgraduate studies in 1986, Sir Tawo was nursed and nurtured in business and professional practices in Allied Bond NV/SA, a Belgian financial services and trading group. That experience let him to set up Allied Bond (Financial Services) Limited in Nigeria in 1989 and subsequently, Allied Bond Consulting Limited in 2005.


Sir Tawo was a pioneer Managing Director of Bond House Limited (A Finance House granted Provisional License by the Central Bank of Nigeria), 1992-1994 and has been chairman of the defunct Ikom Urban Community Bank Limited and Itanig Project Limited, an Italian Nigerian Joint Venture Projects Development Company.

He won the Vanguard Newspaper Young Entrepreneur of the year award in 1989 when as Executive Director of the defunct Discount House Limited, revolutionized the Nigerian Economy with the introduction and operations of the Consumer Support ‘DISCOUNT CARD’ the first card service product to be operated in Nigeria.

To drive the Nigerian Economy, he brought to bear his prowess as a development economist by initiating the ‘INVEST NIGERIA’ and ‘POWER NIGERIA’ Conferences amongst others. He has served in several committees for economic growth and development including Steering Committee for the National Integrated Infrastructure Master plan in 2006 and the Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs led Internal-Ministerial Committee on Nigeria Prisons Agricultural Development Project, 2010-2014.

Sir Tawo held a political appointment of Director, Rural Roads in the Cross River State Government Rural Development Agency, 2016-2018.

He is the promoter of Rural Development Institute, Nigeria.
